Six Ways jitanet Keeps You in Control

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps on your jitanet account. Once a limit is applied it takes effect immediately, and any increase requires a 24-hour cooling-off period before it activates — so a moment of impulse can never override your plan.

Session Time Limits

Choose how long each gaming session can last. jitanet will display an on-screen reminder as your chosen time approaches and can automatically log you out when the limit is reached, helping you avoid unplanned extended play.

Time-Out Breaks

Need a short break without fully closing your account? A time-out allows you to pause your access for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a time-out, you cannot log in, place bets, or make deposits — giving you a genuine reset.

Self-Exclusion

For longer-term breaks, jitanet offers self-exclusion periods of 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or permanent closure. Self-exclusion is irrevocable during the chosen period and blocks all access including promotional communications.

Reality Checks

Reality check notifications pop up at intervals you select — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes — to show you how long you have been playing and your net win or loss for that session. An informed player is a protected player.

24/7 Welfare Support

Our dedicated player welfare team is available around the clock via live chat and email. If you are concerned about your gambling habits — or those of someone you care about — our trained support staff can guide you to the right resources.

Our Commitment to Safe Play

At jitanet, responsible gaming is not an afterthought — it is a foundational principle built into the platform from day one. We firmly believe that gambling should be an enjoyable leisure activity, not a source of financial stress, personal hardship, or emotional distress. Every feature, policy, and process at jitanet is designed with player welfare as a core consideration alongside entertainment.

Our responsible gaming programme covers every player who registers a jitanet account, regardless of how frequently they play or how large their deposits are. The tools described on this page are available free of charge to all registered players at any time, with no penalties for using them. We actively encourage players to explore these features before they feel they need them, as proactive self-management is far more effective than reactive intervention.

jitanet monitors account activity using both automated systems and human review to identify patterns that may suggest a player is experiencing difficulties. Where our monitoring flags a concern, our welfare team will reach out proactively — not to restrict your account arbitrarily, but to check in and ensure you are aware of the support available. We treat all such interactions with complete discretion and without judgement.

We also recognise that responsible gaming requires effort beyond the platform itself. We partner with independent organisations that provide counselling, helplines, and financial advice to individuals affected by problem gambling in Bangladesh and internationally. Details of these organisations are provided in the Getting Help & Support section below.

Our Core Principles: jitanet operates under the belief that gambling must be (1) a voluntary choice made with full information; (2) conducted within affordable financial limits; (3) kept in balance with other life activities; and (4) stopped immediately if it causes harm. These four principles guide every responsible gaming decision we make.

Age Restriction & Verification

jitanet operates a strict 18+ only policy. Gambling is an adult activity and access to all games, betting markets, and financial features on the jitanet platform is categorically prohibited for anyone under the age of 18. This is a non-negotiable requirement and applies equally to all players regardless of location within Bangladesh or payment method used.

Age Declaration at Registration

All new players must confirm their date of birth and affirm that they are 18 years of age or older during the registration process. Providing a false date of birth to circumvent this restriction is a serious breach of our Terms & Conditions and will result in immediate account closure and forfeiture of any funds held.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Verification

Beyond the registration declaration, jitanet conducts formal identity verification — commonly known as KYC — for all accounts. You will be required to submit a copy of a government-issued photo ID (such as your Bangladesh National Identity Card or passport) that confirms both your identity and your date of birth. Accounts that cannot be verified as belonging to a player aged 18 or above will be suspended pending further review or permanently closed.

Protecting Minors at Home

If you share a device with younger family members, we strongly recommend using parental control software to restrict access to gambling websites. Keeping your jitanet login credentials private and logging out after each session are simple but effective steps to prevent accidental or unauthorised access by minors in your household.

18+ Only — Zero Tolerance: If jitanet discovers that an account has been registered by or on behalf of a person under the age of 18, the account will be immediately and permanently closed, all winnings will be forfeited, and any deposits made will be returned to the original payment source. We may also report the matter to relevant authorities.

Deposit Limits & Budget Controls

One of the most practical and effective responsible gaming tools available at jitanet is the ability to set limits on how much money you deposit into your account over a defined time period. Deposit limits put a firm ceiling on your gambling spend before a session starts, removing the risk of in-the-moment decisions overriding your financial plan.

How Deposit Limits Work

You can configure deposit limits through your jitanet account settings or by contacting our support team at . Limits can be set at three intervals:

  • Daily limit: The maximum amount you can deposit within any 24-hour rolling period.
  • Weekly limit: The maximum amount you can deposit within any 7-day rolling period.
  • Monthly limit: The maximum amount you can deposit within any 30-day rolling period.

Limits are denominated in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and apply across all payment methods including bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, Visa, and Mastercard. If you attempt to deposit an amount that would exceed your current limit, the transaction will be declined and you will be notified of your remaining allowance for the period.

Reducing vs. Increasing Limits

Reducing a limit takes effect immediately — as soon as you save the change, your new lower cap applies. This means that if you decide mid-session that you want to spend less, you can act on that decision instantly. Increasing a limit, by contrast, requires a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before the new higher limit becomes active. This delay is intentional: it protects against impulsive decisions made during a losing streak and gives you time to reconsider.

Loss Limits

In addition to deposit limits, jitanet also offers the option to set a maximum loss limit over the same daily, weekly, or monthly intervals. Once your net losses reach the cap you have set, your ability to place further bets is suspended for the remainder of the period, even if you still have a balance in your account. Loss limits are an advanced budgeting tool recommended for players who want the most comprehensive spending controls available.

Recommended Starting Point: If you are setting up deposit limits for the first time, consider starting with a monthly limit equal to what you would comfortably spend on other leisure activities — a cinema trip, a meal out, or a subscription service. Gambling should sit alongside those activities in your budget, not replace them.

Time-Out & Session Controls

Sometimes the most effective responsible gaming measure is simply stepping away for a defined period. jitanet's time-out and session control features are designed to make that as easy as possible, with no friction and no judgement involved.

Session Time Limits

Before or during a gaming session, you can set a maximum session duration through your account settings. jitanet will display an on-screen notification as you approach your limit, giving you a 5-minute warning. When the limit expires, you will be automatically logged out. You can set session limits in increments of 30 minutes, up to a maximum of 4 hours per session. After a forced log-out, a brief lock-out period prevents immediate re-login, encouraging a genuine break.

Reality Check Reminders

Reality checks appear as non-intrusive overlay notifications at the frequency you select — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Each notification displays your session start time, total time played, and your net result (wins minus losses) for the session. You can acknowledge and dismiss the notification to continue playing, but the information is presented clearly so that you always know where you stand.

Time-Out Periods

A time-out is a temporary suspension of your jitanet account. During a time-out, you cannot log in, access games, place bets, or make deposits or withdrawals. Time-out options at jitanet include:

  • 24-hour time-out: A one-day pause, suitable for a short break after a particularly intense session.
  • 7-day time-out: A one-week break, suitable when you feel you need space to reassess your habits.
  • 30-day time-out: A one-month pause, suitable as a structured cooling-off period.

Time-out requests can be submitted via your account settings or by contacting our support team. A time-out takes effect within 1 hour of the request being confirmed. Time-outs cannot be cancelled early — they run for the full selected period before access is automatically restored.

Pending Withdrawals: Any withdrawal requests submitted before a time-out begins will continue to be processed normally. Funds that are already in your account remain safe and can be withdrawn once the time-out period ends. Your account balance is never affected by a time-out.

Self-Exclusion Programme

Self-exclusion is the most comprehensive account protection measure available at jitanet. It is designed for players who recognise that their gambling has become, or is at risk of becoming, a problem and who want to make a definitive commitment to stop. Once initiated, self-exclusion is binding and irrevocable for the duration of the chosen period.

Available Self-Exclusion Periods

  • 3 months — A short-term exclusion for players seeking a structured break to reassess.
  • 6 months — A medium-term exclusion often recommended alongside professional counselling.
  • 12 months — A long-term exclusion for players who need an extended period away from gambling.
  • Permanent exclusion — An irreversible lifetime ban on your account and any future accounts opened with jitanet using your identity.

What Self-Exclusion Covers

A self-exclusion at jitanet is comprehensive. It blocks all access to your account, prevents you from opening a new account, suspends all promotional communications (including email, SMS, and push notifications), and flags your details to prevent re-registration attempts. We take self-exclusion requests very seriously and act on them promptly — typically within 24 hours of receiving your request.

How to Request Self-Exclusion

To initiate self-exclusion, contact our support team directly via live chat or email at with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". Please state your registered email address and your preferred exclusion period. Our welfare team will process your request as a priority and confirm activation. You do not need to provide a reason, and there is absolutely no pressure to justify your decision.

Returning After Self-Exclusion

For exclusions with a fixed end date (3, 6, or 12 months), your account will not be automatically reopened when the period expires. You must proactively contact our support team to request reactivation. At that point, our welfare team will conduct a brief check-in conversation to ensure you are in a healthy position to resume play. This process typically takes 48 hours. Permanent exclusions cannot be reversed under any circumstances.

Self-Exclusion is Serious: Attempting to circumvent a self-exclusion by registering a new account using different personal details is a breach of our Terms & Conditions and may constitute fraud. If you are struggling to honour your own exclusion, this is a strong signal that professional support would be beneficial. Please refer to the Getting Help section below.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually and is often difficult to recognise from the inside. Many people experiencing gambling-related difficulties do not initially identify their behaviour as problematic — they may rationalise it as a run of bad luck, a temporary phase, or a calculated strategy. Understanding the recognised warning signs is the first step toward addressing the issue.

The following behaviours, especially when occurring in combination or with increasing frequency, may indicate that gambling has moved beyond recreational entertainment and requires attention:

  • Spending more money on gambling than you originally planned or can afford to lose.
  • Borrowing money, selling possessions, or using funds set aside for essential needs (rent, food, utilities) to finance gambling.
  • Feeling a compulsive urge to gamble even when you have decided to stop or take a break.
  • Increasing bet sizes in an attempt to recover previous losses — a pattern known as "chasing losses".
  • Feeling restless, anxious, or irritable when unable to gamble.
  • Neglecting work, studies, family responsibilities, or social relationships due to time or money spent gambling.
  • Lying to family members or close friends about the extent of your gambling activity.
  • Using gambling as a primary way to cope with stress, depression, boredom, or difficult emotions.
  • Repeatedly trying to cut back or stop gambling without success.
  • Feeling a sense of depression, guilt, or shame after a gambling session.

If you recognise three or more of these patterns in your own behaviour, we strongly encourage you to use jitanet's self-exclusion or time-out tools and to seek support from one of the organisations listed in the Getting Help section. There is no shame in acknowledging a problem and seeking help — doing so is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Gambling Is Not a Financial Strategy: No betting system, pattern, or strategy can overcome the mathematical house edge over the long term. Gambling should never be used as a way to generate income, pay debts, or solve financial problems. If you are gambling with money you cannot afford to lose, please stop and seek support immediately.

Self-Assessment Checklist

The following questions are adapted from internationally recognised problem gambling screening tools. Answer them honestly and privately — no results are recorded or shared with jitanet. If you answer "Yes" to two or more questions, we encourage you to review your gambling habits and consider using one of jitanet's protective tools or contacting our welfare team.

1

Have you ever spent more money gambling than you intended to when you started the session?

2

Have you ever gambled with money that was set aside for essential expenses such as rent, bills, or groceries?

3

Have you ever tried to win back money you had lost by placing more bets — even when you knew it was not a sensible decision?

4

Have you ever lied to a family member, friend, or colleague about how much time or money you have spent gambling?

5

Has gambling ever caused you to feel anxious, depressed, guilty, or ashamed — either during or after a session?

6

Have you ever borrowed money from someone else — or gone into debt — specifically to fund gambling?

7

Has gambling ever affected your performance at work or your studies, or caused you to miss important commitments?

8

Have you ever felt that you need to gamble with larger amounts of money to get the same level of excitement or enjoyment as before?

9

Have you ever tried to stop or reduce your gambling and found it more difficult than you expected?

10

Do you ever feel a strong urge to gamble when you are stressed, bored, upset, or looking for a way to escape daily pressures?

What to Do If You Answered "Yes": Two or more "Yes" answers suggest your gambling may benefit from closer management. Start by setting a deposit limit or requesting a time-out through your account settings, then contact our welfare team at for a confidential, non-judgmental conversation about the options available to you.
